Mystery TV Shows

January 14th, 2018

I can appreciate a variety of things in life. I truly enjoy and savor my down time. It feels great to sit down after a long, hard day of work and snuggle up on the couch with a great show to watch. My weakness is murder mysteries because it keeps my brain engaged. There have been movies and shows that i’ve watched where I end up doing something else while they are on due to the fact that they don’t hold my attention. Murder mysteries require good observation skills to solve the crime therefore they capture my full scrutiny.  I have watched many detective shows ranging from all different years and quite a few levels of seriousness. I hope that my love and appreciation for a good mystery is something that I can share with you if that is your cup of tea.

  • Monk
  • Criminal Minds
  • Murder, She Wrote
  • Elementary
  • Joe Kenda Homicide Hunter
  • Magnum PI
  • Columbo
  • Agatha Christie’s Poirot
  • Law & Order
  • Inspector Morse
  • Forensic Files
  • The First 48

I have heard great things about Sherlock so that will be the next show on my list to watch. I am finishing up watching Monk right now. It is a quirky and fun show that does require your attention to solve the murders. My husband and I do some fantastic laughs from it, especially when the OCD detective does things that I normally do day to day. I like things a little bit neat at times so I am borderline OCD in some areas. If you like a lighthearted mystery show that has fun story lines and will demand your investigative talent, you will enjoy Monk.

See, even the most simple things are opportunities to be appreciative of something. What  can you find joy in or value at this very moment? (TV show, book, favorite weather, your pet, a great painting, holidays, candle scent, being outdoors, hiking, family heirloom, vase of flowers, fresh and crisp bedding, stars at night or your favorite shirt.)
